Thank you for submitting “Retreat” to [Redacted]. Unfortunately, this didn’t quite engage our imaginations: The Retreat is an interesting concept, but otherwise this piece didn’t do much new with the standard superhero tropes.  Therefore, I’m unable to accept this piece for publication.
