I am very happy to announce the publication (in about a half-hour) of my second story in Daily Science Fiction. “A Year and a Day” was initially a short story written in response to a CNN story about a man who was learning to Scuba Dive to find his wife, who had died in a tsunami. A version was read at Boskone in the Flash Fiction Challenge (which i won), but edited down into the flash piece that you find here.

I am ecstatic that DSF was willing to pick up this story and I hope its one that people can connect to.
